Kini ang inyong Bise-Gobernador
July 1-15, 2004

The Oath Taking Ceremony was divided into three (3) parts. At 7:00 AM a solemn and befitting flag raising ceremony sponsored by the Office of the Provincial Governor was conducted at the Provincial Capitol Grounds. Employees from the Provincial Government and of the different National Government Agencies (NGAs) in their Filipiniana attire joined and attended the activity.

A Holy Mass followed at the San Jose the Worker Parish Church, San Jose District, Pagadian City at 8:00 AM. The activity was very solemn, local officials of the province came together with their family. The church was filled with invited guests, visitors and employees of the Provincial Capitol. All were happy and eager to witness the occasion. Msgr. Edwin de la Peña, the Diocesan Administrator of the Diocese of Pagadian was the main celebrant. He was assisted by his co-celebrants Fr. Arnulfo Jumao-as, Fr. Rey Mutia, Fr. Felix Tigoy, Fr. Leslie Bataoel and Fr. Tuding Mendoza.

In the homily delivered by Most Reverend de la Peña, he challenged the elected officials of the province to make service to humanity the very essence of their work and legacy. As their victory is the mandate of the people, in return they should also serve them to the best of their ability, planning and enacting laws favorable to the development and poverty-alleviation programs for the people they are serving.

During the Offertory, Governor Aurora Enerio-Cerilles together with her husband Congressman Antonio H. Cerilles and Vice Governor Roseller Largo Ariosa brought the gifts, the Chalice, the Ceborium and the Cruets and were followed by other elected officials of the province with their in-kind offerings.

After the Holy Mass, the Oath Taking Ceremony took place at the same venue. Hon. Harun B. Ismael, the Executive Judge of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) officiated the Oath of Office.
Hon. Aurora Enerio-Cerilles, took her Oath of Office as the Governor, Roseller Largo Ariosa as the Vice Governor and Board Members Ma. Dinah Marasigan, Ma. Teresa Real-Cipriano, Flaviano Fucoy Jr, Atty. Baldomero Fernandez and Engr. Ernesto Mondarte for the First Congressional District and John Regala, BasilioVidad,Felicidad Funtanilla, Daylinda Sulong and Eriberto Sumalinog for the Second Congressional District.

In her message, Governor Cerilles gave emphasis on the continuance of the 7-Point Agenda, as the sustaining ground of her administration. She has proven this during her first term of office as Governor. She sought for its continuance and strengthen it for wider scope so that a lot of people will benefit especially in terms of social, health , and other services made available during her administration. “As your Governor, the 7-point agenda shall coninue and shall be strengthened more so that it can serve more people” Governor Cerilles said.

Moreover, she also sought for three (3) major infastructure projects on her second term of office. The construction of the Zamboanga del Sur Medical Center, the Zamboanga del Sur Rehabilitation Center and the transfer of the Provincial Jail - soon to rise at the Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Complex (formerly PADAP Compound) in Dao, Pagadian City.

The three major infrastucture projects will be realized before her term of office expires come 2007.

After her speech the church was filled with thunderous applause as a sign of support to the Lady Governor.
