Infrastructure Sector

  • Provincial Road Network Development Program, CY 2001-2010
    - Concreting of Primary Provincial Roads and Bridges
    - Asphalting of Secondary Provincial Roads and Bridges
    - Gravelling of Farm-to-Market Roads

Social Services and Development Sector

  • Establishment of Medical Centers
    - 3 Medical Centers in strategic locations:
      a. Pagadian City - 200-bed capacity (Urban Center)
    b. R. Magsaysay - 100-bed capacity (District I/Salug Valley)
    c. San Miguel - 100-bed capacity (District II/Baganian Peninsula)
  • Provision of Health Insurance to Poor Sectors
    - Target Beneficiaries: 1,000 poor/indigent families per municipality to include volunteer service providers (e.g. BHW, etc.)
    - Free health services thru respective Medical Centers
    - Health financing scheme through their membership to the National Health Insurance Program (NHIP) of the DOH-National Govt.

Economic Development Sector

  • High Value Commercial Crops (HVCC) Production Program
    - Cassava Production
    - Mushroom Production
  Contract Growing Scheme with well-established corporations (e.g. SMC, etc.) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with component LGUs, City Govt. and Buyers.
  • Formation/Strengthening of Farmers/Fisherfolk Multi-Purpose Cooperatives
    - To facilitate the implementation of livelihood programs, provision of technical/ financial/credit assistance, particularly HVCC production and marketing, etc.
