ACCOMPLISHMENTS BY FUNCTIONS/SERVICES

a. Maternal And Child Health
" There were 23,296 or 77.1 percent pregnant
women availed three or more prenatal services of the different RHUs
and other prenatal centers. Also there were 15,889 or 52.6 % pregnant
women given TT2.
" For post-partum services, 15,597 or 60.2%
women availed and 15,594 or 60.2% initiated breastfeeding.
b. EPI and Breastfeeding
" There were 18,252 (70.5%) fully immunized
children 10.067 children given Hepa B immunization and 16,310 (90.2%)
infants seen at 4th month exclusively breastfed.
c. Control of Diarrheal Diseases
" A total of 8,021 (22.89%) Children with
diarrheal disease aging 0-59 months were given oresol.
d. Control of Acute Respiratory Infection
" There were 6,280 (50.17%) children (0-59
months) with pneumonia cases being seen while 5,845 (93.1%) children
were given treatment.
e. Nutrition
" For Operation Timbang (OPT) coverage, there
were 1,068 (0.78%) severely underweight and 8,365 (6.1%) moderately
weight.
" For micronutrient supplementation, 14,931
(61.8%) pregnant women and 11,875 (165.5%) post-partum mothers given
complete iron dosage. Iodized capsules were given to 4,647 (2.6%)
women (15-49 years old).
" Vitamin A was given to 15,600 (60.2%) lactating
mothers, 17,888 (69.1%) children (9-11 months) and to 82,375 children
(12-59 months).
f. Family Planning
" A total of 66,125 productive individuals
(male and female) currently using family planning methods of different
types. There were 20,637 users classified as new acceptors.
g. Dental Health
" Preventive dental treatment was given to
14,612 schoolers and 4,561 pregnant women. Curative treatment was
also provided to 3,042 pre-schoolers, 7,446 schoolers, 2,507 pregnant
women and 11,454 adults.
h. National Tuberculosis Program
" A total of 5,117 persons of TB symptomatics
with examined sputum, 814 sputum found positive, 731 were X-rayed
and were initiated treatment. There were 30 persons with TB cases
were retreated.
i. Leprosy
" Diagnosed leprosy cases were 71, continuing
treatment are 78 and 55 were treated completely.
j. Schistosomiasis
" For the total of 32,026 stool examined,
2,431 were found positive and 2,361 cases given treatment.
k. Rabies
" There were 737 cases seen with animal bites
and 514 of them were given post exposure immunization.
l. Malaria
" A total of 6,836 persons were clinically
diagnosed, 60 cases confirmed and 58 given treatment.
m. Sexually-Transmitted Diseases
" There were 141 women with vaginal discharge
and eight (8) with wethral discharge
n. Filariasis Reports
" There were ten (10) filariasis cases being
reported
o. Environmental Health
" On water sanitation, a total of 1,216 water
sampled and 1,742 water system ere disinfected. A total of 142,643
household are access to safe water
" The total households with sanitary toilets
are 123,903. Under food sanitation there were 4,318 sanitary permits
issued to food establishments and 4,318 health certificates issued
to food handlers.
" For environmental sanitation, 60,392 households
are with satisfactory garbage disposal and 67,117 households with
complete basic sanitary facilities.
